Fancy Sinantha

Fancy Sinantha Fancy is the Development Manager and joined the Young Foundation in June 2007. She supports the Director and Associate Directors in all aspects of fundraising and is responsible for enouraging and strengthening the Young Foundation's relationships with funders.

Fancy has over five years experience in the not for profit sector in the US and UK; primarily in the areas of events and fundraising. She is in the process of gaining a Certificate in Fundraising Management (CiFM) from the Institute of Fundraising, London, UK.

Most recently, Fancy was at the Institute for Public Policy Research (ippr); and previously, with the International Assoc. for the Study of Forced Migration (IASFM) and Migration Policy Institute (MPI). At IASFM and MPI, she was integral in organising their international conferences in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Athens, Greece.

Fancy has had a longstanding academic and professional interest in international politics with a special interest in Asia and the themes of migration, development, and social innovation. She holds a degree in International Law, Institutions, and Ethics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Washington D.C., USA.
