Peter Wheeler

Peter Wheeler is Chairman of IPValue and was one of the founders of the company in 2001 while working at iFormation Group, a joint investment vehicle of Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic Partners, and The Boston Consulting Group.

Peter spent sixteen years with Goldman Sachs working in New York, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore and China, he became a partner in 1994 and returned to the UK in 1998.

Peter is an investor in, and a non-executive director of, Climate Change Capital and is a member of the Supervisory Board of Actis and was the Chairman of Futurebuilders. He is a founder and Trustee of New Philanthropy Capital and Charity Technology Trust and is also on the Investment Advisory Committee of UnLtd.

Peter is also a co-founder of Social Impact International, a social entrepreneur development programme, which launched its forst project in Hyderabad, India, in 2006.
