Dalwardin Babu

Dal joined the Metropolitan Police Service in July 1983 and became a Trustee of the Young Foundation in January 2008.

Ed Mayo is Chief Executive of the National Consumer Council (NCC) and Vice Chairman on the Board of Trustees.

Kate is a Trustee and Fellow of the Young Foundation and has been associated with the Institute of Community Studies and Mutual Aid Centre (also based at Victoria Park Square) since 1992.

Kevin O’Sullivan has been a Trustee since 2002 and is a member of the Finance and Nominations Committees.

Kirsteen Tait set up the Information Centre about Asylum and Refugees (ICAR) at Kings College London in March 2001 and was its director until 2004. She is an adviser to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and an associate of the Housing Association's Charitable Trust (hact).

Malcolm Dean is the Guardian’s lead writer on social affairs and assistant editor. For the last 15 years he has also written regular London dispatches for the Lancet.

Marcial Boo

Marcial Boo is now responsible for the policy and research output of the Audit Commission and previously spent seven years in central government where he was responsible in the Home Office for crime reduction.

Michele Giddens is an Executive Director of Bridges Community Ventures.

Paul Dolan is Professor of Economics at Tanaka Business School, Imperial College London.

Peter Wheeler is the Chair of Trustees.

Tariq Modood has been a Professor of Sociology, Politics and Public Policy at the University of Bristol and is the founding Director of the Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship.
