Ian Casswell

Ian Casswell Ian is a Launchpad associate and joined the Young Foundation in September 2006.

He is principally responsible for the development and advancement of Launchpad’s education projects, he works closely with partners in other sectors to develop the educational egenda of Launchpad.

Ian joined the Launchpad team with a broad experience of the education sector. He is a qualified teacher having worked in an inner-city secondary school through the inaugural TeachFirst programme in London. Previously to this he worked for a charity; Nightingales Children’s Project in Romania, working with HIV/AIDS orphans where he remains a trustee. Ian holds a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Birmingham and his interests include triathlon, outdoor pursuits and travelling.
