Sophie Hostick

Sophie joined the Young Foundation in September 2008 and provides research and programme support for the Innovation Catalyst in the Local Innovation team.

Sophie did a degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Hull.

Before joining the Young Foundation Sophie worked at Humberside Police Force, initially as a Hate Crime Coordinator managing a hate crime reporting scheme, and finally as a Review & Research Officer conducting reviews into departments and policies at Humberside Police Force in order to improve the Force.

Sophie enjoys languages and speaks Danish, some German and is learning Spanish.  She also enjoys sewing, making jewellery, learning to play the guitar, reading novels and social anthropology.
